W studiu Dave’a Gahana 11th Floor Studios w Nowym Jorku,gdzie powstał solowy album „Hourglass„,zainstalowano mikser SSL Matrix. Jego instalacji podjął się inżynier Kurt Uenala,który udzielał się przy demach „Playing the Angel„,drugim solowym albumie Gahana,”Sounds of the Universe” i przy najnowszym albumie Depeche Mode będącym w produkcji.
