Komentarz: Jeden z dwóch występów J&TMC na tej trasie. depeche MODE chcieli, aby J&TMC supportowali ich na większej liczbie koncertów, ale władze lokalne LA nie wyraziły na to zgodę ze względu na nazwę zespołu.
Na koncercie byli również obecni członkowie U2 – Bono i Adam Clayton . Tak tę historię opisali w swojej książce – Halo – Kevin May i David McElroy . Koncert Giants Stadium był z pewnością ważny dla depeche MODE i ich fanów. Okazał się też monumentalny w kształtowaniu historii innych zespołów. Anton Corbijn przedstawił producenta Violator – Flooda – Bono i Adamowi Claytonowi w loży prasowej, co doprowadziło do wyprodukowania przez Flooda kultowego albumu Achtung Baby U2 .
Flood wspominał ten kluczowy moment spotkanie po koncercie dla U2.com: „depeche MODE grali na Giants Stadium […], a ja siedziałem na moim wysokim tronie w loży prasowej, całkowicie zgrzany, myśląc: „Jakie to jest dobre?Anton Corbijn mówi: „Flood , mam kilka osób Ci do przedstawienia.Bono i Adam w przebraniu. Wszyscy mieliśmy już dobrze wlane, a oni powiedzieli: „Chcemy wysadzić w powietrze stare U2 i pojechać do Berlina , aby nagrać nową płytę. Czy jesteś zainteresowany? „
